September 22, 2003 By: Mark Harris New hydrodynamic pressure bearings from Quality Bearings & ComponentsNew hydrodynamic pressure bearings from Quality Bearings & Components feature 30% weight savings and are designed for light applications. They are formed by stacking laminated aluminum-silicon alloy plates that are housed in a stainless steel case with pylori-thickened grease containing antioxidant and anticorrosion additives.
