Africa’s biggest frequency converter controlled geared motor order supplied by Bauer geared motors

The biggest frequency converter controlled geared motor order in Africa has been supplied by Bauer Geared Motors, a Hudaco Group company in the Bearings International stable. The order, placed with Bauer Geared Motors by Chris Plant of Denmark, called for the supply of over 300 frequency converter controlled geared motors  the full complement of units required to operate the baggage handling system at Johannesburg International Airports Domestic terminal. Bauer MD Graham Dunford says the installation is in the cold commissioning phase, with full commissioning scheduled by the end of this year.
