Brillion’s new 6-foot landscape seeder is completely updated and improved with flange style bearings

The new Brillion 6-foot Landscape Seeder features an improved seed agitation system, simplified drive and overall updating in the wider 6-foot size.

"Brillion Landscape seeders lead the industry in seed metering and precise seed placement," says Gary Wallander, product support coordinator for Brillion Farm Equipment Division. "The updated design, new agitation system and wider size is designed to keep up with the changing needs of today's landscape professionals."

The Built Brillion Tough™ seeder boasts an all-new structural tube mainframe, and adds a larger seed box and a wider 6-foot seeding pass. The 4.5-bushel landscape-style single hopper boasts a new seed agitation system. The polyethylene five-blade agitator handles a wide range of turf and landscape seeds with ease and is corrosion-resistant for years of reliable service. Openers set at 3 inches provide uniform seed distribution across the seeder's width.

An updated seed box drive system features a roller-chain drive with ball bearing idlers to ensure proper chain tension. All bearings are flange style and self-aligning for top performance and long life. The roller bearings are greaseable, just like on the large model seeders, for added reliability and service live The wider design better matches modern landscape tractors. The standard-equipment wheel track removers are wider and beefed up to accommodate today's wider turf tires. An integral Category I three-point hitch provides a close-coupled unit for outstanding maneuverability.

The Brillion double-roller seedbed conditioning system firms the seedbed with the first roller and presses seed in place with the second roller to ensure optimum seed-to-soil contact with consistent seed placement in the top half inch of the seedbed for faster, more consistent germination. Optional features include a choice of special brush-style or cage-style agitators and a lift sling for easier loading on a trailer or truck for transport.
